- Listen to a lecture on what an ICT is and why we call it interactive communication. link
- Listen to an overview of the course and read the syllabus. link
- Create a new weblog on QUBlogs, and write an introductory post. Also sign up for an aggregator and write about that. link
- Read Bush, V. (1945). As we may think. Atlantic Monthly, July. link
- Read • Licklidder, J.C.R. (1968). Man-Computer Symbiosis. Science and Technology. (pp. 1-20 in the PDF) link
- Watch the Demo (Englebart) link
- Read Mahoney, D. A. (2002). How to write a better weblog. A list apart. link
- Write a response to the readings and video on your blog, no later than 1/29 link
- Write a response to one of your peer’s responses (be sure to link!)
- Write at least five blog postings (including those above), totallying at least 1,200 words, no later than 2/5
- Write a self-assessment for the unit, no later than 2/8
